Life at the Lincoln Park Conservatory

I found these two little guys at the Lincoln Park Conservatory in the Orchid Room.
Much to my surprise, I asked the nearest employee If he knew anything about them, and whether or not they had been placed there. The Gentleman was as surprised as I was, and then came to the conclusion that they must have been brought in with one of the flowers, and decided to make themselves comfortable. They were no bigger than a penny..never in my life had I seen such a small frog. Just goes to show you, there's alot more life in the Lincoln Park Conservatory than we possibly will ever see..

That's pretty cool. Must of been a stowaway with a plant shipment like the employee said. When I worked at a bonsai nursery we often had little creatures like this that came up from Florida in the shipments.

MrBrownThumb- That always had to have been an interesting surprise, no matter how often it happened.
Bonsai Nursery..that in and of it self must have been great.
Kate Smudges- Thank you very much! to be honest, at first I thought they might have been little crickets, I'm glad I decided to take a closer look.

I totally understand where you are coming from going to the conservatory. That is my absolute favorite place. Not only did me father take my sister and I there growing up, But I always get so influenced taking pictures of all these beyond beautiful plants and flowers.
