(this pic was found on 24Gotham's flickr, thank you for the wonderful pic)
The worst part about getting to the park was indeed the car ride (a.k.a. winter now a days) , because it always felt like it took forever!
As winter takes its corse and it's time doing so, I'm very tempted to start seeds.. but I made that mistake last year and ended up praying for the time when I could start to gradually take everything outdoors because I didn't have space indoors anymore.
This year in the mean time, i've been working on plotting everything out as well as making educated decisions on when to start everything. I've also been doing a lot of reading as well. So hopefully this year will provide greater success as well as failures to learn from.

I stumbled across your blog last night and I'm really enjoying it! I especially like the title (It was my daughter's idea for mine..which I started yesterday) but found out that you had it - which is great because it is so fitting for you. I too am finding my green thumb and we are on our 3rd year gardening and harvesting and it's a wonderful thing. Keep up the great work! I look forward to reading more!

Thank you very much! I'm sorry I beat you to it, but to be honest, I like the title of your blog, its genuine. I found that finding my green thumb was the best way to sum up where I was, am right now. Still learning. Gardening is a great thing, It amazes me every single time. I look forward to having you as a reader!
Good luck with the garden and congrats on slowing down and learning from previous mistakes. Wish I could learn to do that when it comes to seed starting.
